As fans and supporters of the Blugold Marching Band, we wanted to give you a heads-up about a primetime special airing tomorrow night that features the BMB. WQOW will air "The Power of Band," a feature that follows the history and development of the Blugold Marching Band from its creation in 2000 to today.
The production contains performance segments of all five of this year's BMB groups. Three bands, the drumline, and color guard and dancers recorded performances on Simpson Field, and each have great shows to share with you! The special also includes video excerpts from the past two decades of BMB.
Tune in on Thursday, November 5 at 6:20pm CST to the WQOW Livestream to get your BMB fix from the safety of your home! Despite the limitations, we've continued to make music and provide a special (and safe) experience for our students. We're glad to be able to share some music and our special brand of BMB energy with you through "The Power of Band" tomorrow night on WQOW!

With a gift of $300 or more, you can "Adopt" a BMB member and put yourself in the stands for one of their performances! We'll create a cardboard cutout with a photo YOU provide so you can show your favorite BMB member that you're supporting them even when you can't be there in person. You will also receive a photo of your BMB member with their instrument!
Do you know two members of the BMB? You can adopt 2 members for $400! You'll receive two photos when you adopt 2 band members. We'll also create two cardboard cutouts using two photos YOU provide so you can show your favorite BMB members that you're supporting them even when you can't be there in person
