What We're Fundraising For

The Women's Track and Field team is a highly decorated and integral part of the UW-Eau Claire community. Our athletes follow the UW-Eau Claire mission of excellence to the highest standard. To continue the legacy of excellence, we need support from loyal fans like you to continue to compete at the top level.  

This year, we are raising funds to provide every athlete with a complete team apparel package for the 2026–27 season. Our goal is to purchase an “apparel haul” that each student-athlete will receive and keep, including a team T-shirt, long sleeve T-shirt, warm-up top, warm-up bottoms, and a backpack.

This has become a growing trend across collegiate programs, with teams unveiling their gear packages on social media each year. Not only does this build excitement and team pride, but it is also a powerful recruiting tool. Quality team gear is one of the top things prospective student-athletes look for, and providing it demonstrates our investment in their experience from day one.

Your support will help us outfit our athletes, strengthen team culture, and enhance our ability to recruit and retain talented competitors who represent our program with pride.

Matching Gift Opportunity

Pete Eckerline '82 is matching gifts all gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500 for Women's Track and Field!  Make your gift during Athletics Giving Week to double your impact.

Gifts are counted as one per household per team. Please do not give a gift to the same team for you, your spouse, your child etc. because you all will only be counted as one gift towards the challenge. There is an option to jointly make your gift from you and your spouse to ensure you are both credited for your generosity.
