What We're Fundraising For

The Men's Golf team is an integral part of the UW-Eau Claire community. Our athletes follow the UW-Eau Claire mission of excellence to the highest standard. To continue the legacy of excellence, we need support from loyal fans like you to continue to compete at the top level.

We are fundraising to support earlier and more competitive spring break travel for our men’s and women’s golf teams. These funds will ensure our student-athletes can begin spring competition sooner, train at a higher level, and position themselves to qualify for nationals. Our goal is to raise approximately $500 per athlete to help cover travel, lodging, and tournament expenses and to elevate both teams. 

Matching Gift Opportunity

This year during Athletics Giving Week, all donations made to support the men’s golf team will be matched dollar-for-dollar until we reach $22,500! Andrew Schmidt '17 will match donations up to $15,000, Paul Waitrovich ’86 and Amy Mergen will match $5,000 and PJ Madson '02 will match an additional $2,500! Don’t miss this opportunity to double your impact when you support Men’s Golf.

Gifts are counted as one per household per team. Please do not give a gift to the same team for you, your spouse, your child etc. because you all will only be counted as one gift towards the challenge. There is an option to jointly make your gift from you and your spouse to ensure you are both credited for your generosity.
