What We're Fundraising For
The Men's Cross Country team is a highly decorated and integral part of the UW-Eau Claire community. Our athletes follow the UW-Eau Claire mission of excellence to the highest standard. To continue the legacy of excellence, we need support from loyal fans like you to continue to practice and compete at the top level.
This year, we are looking for donations to help improve the student-athlete experience. We want to support our athletes by purchasing the following:
- Team Refueling Station
- Team Apparel Kits
In order to compete at our best it’s imperative that we recover from our workouts and races. A team refueling station is a great way to help accomplish this goal by giving our student athletes access to high quality nutrition following workouts and races free of charge. Last year we used money raised from the athletics week of giving towards individual apparel kits; which included a Blugold branded singlet, shorts/spandex, and long sleeve running top; so we look like a team at practice. This was a huge success and we plan to continue using donations for this purpose.

Ian Frink '95 is generously matching all gifts to Men's Cross Country dollar-for-dollar up to $1,500! Make your gift during Athletics Giving Week to double your impact.
Gifts are counted as one per household per team. Please do not give a gift to the same team for you, your spouse, your child etc. because you all will only be counted as one gift towards the challenge. There is an option to jointly make your gift from you and your spouse to ensure you are both credited for your generosity.
