What We're Fundraising For
The Women's Basketball team is a highly decorated and integral part of the UW-Eau Claire community. Once again, we will have one of the most demanding non-conference schedules in DIII next year. We must travel to take on tough teams outside our region to return to a high-ranking place and make another NCAA tournament appearance.
For example, next season, we'll go to Greensboro, NC to play. Your support will help fund our transportation, lodging, and food to compete against these tough opponents. Your generosity will play an important role in maintaining and growing UW-Eau Claire Women's Basketball.
Matching Gift Opportunity
Blugold Women's Basketball fan, Emilio Rinaldi, will be matching all gifts made during the week dollar-for-dollar up to $3,000 and basketball alums Joe '01 and Megan '01 (Murphy) Jacobson as matching another $1,000! Make your gift during Athletics Giving Week to take advantage of this opportunity to double your support.
Gifts are counted as one per household per team. Please do not give a gift to the same team for you, your spouse, your child etc. because you all will only be counted as one gift towards the challenge. There is an option to jointly make your gift from you and your spouse to ensure you are both credited for your generosity.
