Women's Soccer 

The Women's Soccer team is an integral part of the UW-Eau Claire community. Our athletes follow the UW-Eau Claire mission of excellence to the highest standard. To continue the legacy of excellence, we need support from loyal fans like you to continue to compete and recruit at the top level.

We want to raise enough money to equip our new team members with Catapult GPS tracking devices. These devices are important to our team for three main reasons:

1. Tracking of player distance covered - aids in recovery and practice planning
2. Top speed - assess training progress and recovery status
3. Player load a - How much load ("work") is each player doing

When we consider these metrics, we can optimize recovery, playing time, and practice schedules to maximize our teams' performance on the field and avoid putting athletes in situations where they are fatigued to the point of risking injury.

A generous women's soccer alum is matching all donations dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000! Make your gift during Athletics Giving Week to double your impact! Additionally, Judy Kruckman is challenging everyone to give back to our Blugold Women's Teams. Once we hit 100 gifts to any women's team, Judy will give $1,500 to the Women’s Opportunity Fund. When we hit 200 gifts to any women's team, she'll kick in another $1,500. And once we hit 300 gifts to any women's team, she'll donate $2,000. In total that's $5,000 to support our Blugold Women's Teams through the Judith Kruckman Women’s Opportunity Fund!

Your generous support will play an important role in the maintenance and growth of UW-Eau Claire Soccer. Your support for Soccer benefits current and future athletes. Gifts are counted as one per household per team. Please do not give a gift to the same team for you, your spouse, your child etc. because you all will only be counted as one gift towards the challenge. There is an option to jointly make your gift from you and your spouse to ensure you are both credited for your generosity.
