Women's Basketball
The Women's Basketball team is a highly decorated and integral part of the UW-Eau Claire community. We are already counting the days until next season, and we can't wait to bring the excitement and success back again to the brand-new Sonnentag Event Center!
Once again, we will have one of the most demanding non-conference schedules in DIII next year. We must travel to take on tough teams outside our region to return to a high-ranking place and make another NCAA tournament appearance.
For example, next season, we'll go to Cleveland, OH, to play in the Baldwin-Wallace tournament. Your support will help fund our transportation, lodging, and food to compete against these tough opponents. Your generosity will play an important role in maintaining and growing UW-Eau Claire Women's Basketball.
Blugold Women's Basketball fan, Emilio Rinaldi, will be matching all gifts made during the week dollar-for-dollar up to $2,000! Make your gift during Athletics Giving Week to take advantage of this opportunity to double your impact for our team. Additionally, Judy Kruckman '64 is challenging everyone to give back to our Blugold Women's Teams. Once we hit 100 gifts to any women's team, Judy will give $1,500 to the Judith Kruckman Women’s Opportunity Fund. When we hit 200 gifts to any women's team, she'll kick in another $1,500. And once we hit 300 gifts to any women's team, she'll donate $2,000. In total, that's $5,000 to support our Blugold women's teams through the Judith Kruckman Women’s Opportunity Fund!
