Tennis has a long-standing history of excellence at UW-Eau Claire. To continue the legacy built over the past several decades, we need support from loyal fans like you. Your support for Tennis will benefit current and future athletes.
Tennis needs an Ace-Attack Tennis Serving Machine. In today’s fast-paced tennis game, the ace-attack and serve-plus one are the two most essential weapons in a player's arsenal. These two shots represent 60% of all points, so returning a big serve with accuracy and repetition is the difference between winning and losing a tennis match. College players can hit the ball at an average of 110 MPH; there is no way to practice returns at this level. So the coaches resort to serving tennis balls from mid-court and moving closer to the net to emulate the fast-serve speeds players will need to return in a match. This Serving Machine will get us to the next level and be a tool to help our players return the hardest serves - giving us a chance to win more matches!
