Women's Soccer 

The Women's Soccer team is an integral part of the UW-Eau Claire community. Our athletes follow the UW-Eau Claire mission of excellence to the highest standard. To continue the legacy of excellence, we need support from loyal fans like you to continue to compete and recruit at the top level.

We want to raise enough money to equip our team with these Catapult GPS tracking devices. Our thought process in purchasing Catapult One GPS systems for the soccer teams at UWEC is for three main reasons:

1. Tracking of player distance covered - aid in recovery and practice planning
2. Top speed - assess training progress and recovery status
3. Player load a - How much load ("work") is each player actually doing

When we take these metrics, we can optimize recovery, playing time, and practice schedules to maximize the performance of our teams on the field, along with not putting athletes in situations where they are fatigued to the point of risking injury (even though they may say otherwise).

Your support for Soccer benefits current and future athletes. In addition, when the department reaches 100 donations to ANY women’s program, it will unlock a $1,000 donation to the Judy Kruckman Women’s Opportunity Fund, allowing your gift during DIII Week to have twice the impact! Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you cheering us on this fall.
