Men's Soccer
The Men's Soccer team is a new and important part of the UW-Eau Claire community. The Blugolds have had a fantastic start to their program, earning a bid into the NCAA tournament in just their second season and making it to the second round. Four players earned All-Region honors, and Nathan Donovan was named a First-Team All-American.
The team plans to travel to Germany next spring. This is important not only as a travel and cultural experience for the student-athletes but also for them to compete overseas, as some Blugolds may be able to play professionally after graduation. This allows them to play in front of teams they could sign with. Of course, travel is quite an expensive out-of-pocket cost to our student-athletes. Money raised will go towards helping lower travel expenses for each of our players. We are excited to go worldwide and show the competition how great the Blugolds are.
