Women's Hockey
The Women's Hockey team is an integral part of the UW-Eau Claire community. Our athletes follow the UW-Eau Claire mission of excellence to the highest standard. To continue the legacy of excellence, we need support from loyal fans like you to continue to compete and recruit at the top level.
The team will travel out east to play Middlebury College (Vermont) in the Cardinal/Panther Classic over Thanksgiving break. In their continued pursuit to be amongst the best in the nation, Coach Strand wants to play the best teams in the country to challenge the team and prepare them for the post-season. This trip will also enhance the student-athlete experience. All travel outside of the region is paid for through fundraised dollars.
Security Financial Bank is sponsoring the Women's Hockey team this week and will match all donations dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000!
In addition, when the department reaches 100 donations to ANY women’s program, it will unlock a $1,000 donation to the Judy Kruckman Women’s Opportunity Fund, allowing your gift during DIII Week to have twice the impact!
