Women's Basketball
The Women's Basketball team is a highly decorated and integral part of the UW-Eau Claire community. And we are already counting the days until next season, and we can’t wait to bring the excitement and success back again to Zorn Arena!
The team played the 8th toughest overall schedule in the nation out of 450 teams, including 10 games against teams that advanced to the national tournament. Next year, the Blugolds will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to play 2023 NCAA National Champion Transylvania University, who finished with a 33-0 record. Thanks to fundraised dollars, this will be back-to-back years that the Blugolds will be traveling to play the National Champions from the prior season. During the 2023-24 season, this trip to Kentucky, which will be fully fundraised, will be our greatest need for support.
