EATS 2023

EATS stands for Educational Assistance Through Scholarship. It is a gala evening of gourmet specialties prepared by featured local eateries and UWEC-BC faculty, staff and students. The event’s proceeds support UW-Eau Claire — Barron County (UWECBC) Foundation’s mission and provides funding for:

Scholarships for high achieving and/or financially-needy students
Faculty and staff professional development
“Thursdays at the U” public lecture series
The Campus Cupboard food pantry
Campus improvements that enhance the physical and intellectual environment.

Approaching its fourteenth year, EATS has been a growing success—in recent years we have sold or sponsored over 300 tickets per event and had more than 100 volunteers and food/ drink providers in attendance!

TICKETS: General admission starts at $40; Patrons ($100) and Benefactors ($500— includes 4 tickets) are listed in the program.

WHAT TAKES PLACE: On February 4, 2023, along with the extensive and diverse food sampling there will be an evening of various ongoing activities: raffles, silent and live auctions of quality items and experiences; live music; and cash wine/beer bars. The admission ticket includes all food samples. There will be various seating areas for guests to comfortably socialize, along with typical mingling throughout the event area on campus.
