Greetings Blugold Soccer friends and family!
We hit the ground running in our inaugural season in 2021-22, finishing with a record of 15-4. Not only did we have success as a team, but we also saw individual efforts that ranked some of our players amongst the best in the country, creating great building blocks for this season where we won our first 13 games.
While we are proud of the success we have had so far, we still have a long way to go to reach our goals. We are continuing to set the bar high for our program and we need your help. As we prepare for the future, we ask that you consider making a donation to the men’s soccer fund, which provides financial support for the program. These funds will help us recruit and retain student-athletes who are athletically and academically talented. They also help us provide resources to ensure that our student-athletes achieve excellence in the classroom and on the field. Your tax-deductible gift supports our mission of enhancing the education of our dedicated student-athletes by providing them with a first-class experience.
One of our goals for spring of 2024 is to take our players overseas to compete against professional teams. Not only will this prep our team for when we officially join a conference, it will also put our players in front of the people who could potentially sign them to a professional contract after they finish their Blugold career. The trip will also provide one of our university’s guideposts of a high-impact learning experience as most of our student-athletes have never traveled abroad.
