Tennis has a long-standing history of excellence at UW-Eau Claire. To continue the legacy that has been built over the past serval decades, we need support from loyal fans like you. The women's and men's teams go for a week long tennis spring trip to USTA Tennis Center in Florida to compete against some of the best D3 teams in the country. This is an important opportunity for our athletes to continue to develop their skills and show opponents how great the Blugolds are.
Many of our players attend UW-Eau Claire from small towns, and select to come here due to the excellent education and ability to continue on their tennis career in college. This trip is an opportunity for many students to see beyond the Midwest for the first time in their tennis careers. But we need your help to fund this important trip.
To bring the team to Orlando Florida's USTA Tennis Center for a week of tennis development, it costs $1,200 per student athlete. Our goal is to help offset the cost for each student by raising $600 per student for a total of $12,000 for the teams.
By making your gift today, you can ensure our students will be able to travel to Florida for this development opportunity.
The athletes will be staying together in a condo close to the tennis center, and eating most meals together to save money. Every gift, no matter the size, will ensure our student athletes can compete against some of the best D3 teams in the country.
